Theis Industries Inc. was founded on a singular premise: that the most difficult problems in defense, materials science, and engineering deserve real solutions — not compromises. For over four decades, we have delivered exactly that.
To invent, develop, and deploy proprietary materials and engineering solutions that perform where nothing else can — protecting lives, advancing industries, and manufacturing the future of America.
A world where American ingenuity, backed by the most advanced materials science on earth, equips every defender, protects every asset, and builds every structure that matters — from the deep sea floor to outer space.
Theis Industries operates as a parent innovation company with nine specialized vertical divisions — each powered by Theis Tekton™ chemistry and shared IP.
Founder · Chief Scientist · Inventor of Theis Tekton™
Jason Theis is the Founder, Chief Scientist, and inventive force behind Theis Industries — an inventor and materials scientist whose work over more than four decades has produced a portfolio of proprietary materials, biometric security systems, and protective technologies now field-proven across defense, marine, aerospace, energy, and industrial markets. Jason is the architect of Theis Tekton™ (Liquid Kevlar™), a breakthrough protective material engineered to outperform polyurea, polyurethane, and epoxy coatings across adhesion, impact, corrosion, chemical resistance, and weatherability. His relentless focus on solving problems that incumbent materials could not has made him one of the most prolific independent inventors in the protective-coatings space. As the holder of issued U.S. patents, 17+ pending applications, and international WIPO filings, Jason has built the intellectual-property backbone that underpins every vertical the company operates — from construction and defense to maritime, septic, molding, and automotive. He pairs deep technical mastery with a builder's instinct for turning laboratory innovation into deployable, real-world solutions, and he continues to lead the research and development efforts that keep Theis Tekton™ ahead of the market. Above all, Jason brings the conviction of a scientist who has spent a career proving that better materials are possible — and the discipline to field-prove every claim before it ever reaches a customer.
Chief Executive Officer · Deal Architect · Commercial Lead
Jessica Theis is the Chief Executive Officer of Theis Industries, the commercial and strategic engine who transforms breakthrough science into bankable, executable enterprise. As Deal Architect and Commercial Lead, Jessica drives the commercial, legal, and strategic operations of the company — structuring partnerships, negotiating contracts, and managing the investor and government relationships that turn proprietary technology into durable revenue. She is the connective tissue between the laboratory and the market, translating Theis Tekton™ and the company's broader IP portfolio into deal structures that institutional capital, federal agencies, and global partners can underwrite with confidence. Jessica's command of deal architecture and contract law allows her to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder transactions across defense, energy, manufacturing, and international markets, while protecting the company's intellectual property and long-term value at every turn. She has built the operational and governance framework that allows Theis Industries to scale responsibly — aligning capital formation, regulatory compliance, and go-to-market execution under a single, coherent strategy. Equal parts operator, negotiator, and steward, Jessica brings the clarity and discipline required to carry a portfolio of disruptive technologies from invention to market leadership, ensuring that every commercial decision reinforces the company's mission and the integrity of its science.

Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
Jonathan Swistock is the Chief Strategy Officer of Theis Industries, a role that encompasses far more than marketing — he is responsible for the company's overarching growth strategy, brand architecture, market positioning, and the alignment of every commercial initiative behind a single, coherent vision. As CSO, Jonathan sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and execution, translating the company's breakthrough materials science and protective technologies into compelling narratives, durable demand, and defensible market position across defense, construction, energy, maritime, and industrial verticals. Jonathan brings the rare combination of strategic vision and hands-on operational fluency — equally comfortable architecting a multi-year market-entry plan and building the web platforms, campaigns, and content engines that bring it to life. He partners closely with the executive team to convert technical differentiation into commercial advantage, aligning product, partnerships, capital, and communications so that the company grows with intention rather than by accident. Above all, Jonathan operates as the connective strategic layer of Theis Industries, ensuring that the company's story, its markets, and its long-term ambitions move forward as one.
Theis & White Barrel Roll
Theis Tekton Overview
Every solution we offer is rooted in proprietary technology we invented, tested, and proved ourselves.
We don't stop at lab results. Our technology is proven in the world's most extreme environments.
Invented here. Proven here. Manufactured here. Protected here. Scaled from America to the world.
Our patents, pending applications, and trade secrets are the foundation of every engagement we make.
We are called when others have walked away. Complex, novel, high-stakes — that's where we perform best.
Every engagement — sale, license, partnership, or production — is structured to protect all parties and deliver results.
Every Theis Tekton application is a layered system — a BLT sandwich of substrate, primer, core compound, functional layer, and topcoat. This architecture delivers performance that single-material systems cannot match.
Independent Performance Testing
Comparative testing on steel substrate, scored 1 (poor) to 5 (best). Competitor figure is the average of polyurea, polyurea hybrid, polyurethane, and epoxy.

Bikram Yoga — practiced by 18,000+ teachers across 60 countries — requires rooms held at 105°F. Teacher trainings at Radisson LAX faced two critical problems: achieving sufficient heat and eliminating odor from large class sizes.
Jason engineered a proprietary blend of gases with a directed airflow system that kept heat concentrated near the floor rather than rising, while neutralizing odor-causing bacteria entirely. Doorknobs became too hot to touch — the room was at optimal temperature throughout.
"Jason made HEAVY HEAT and the room smelt beautiful even after all the classes! I never thought it was possible!"
— Bikram Choudhry, Founder of Bikram YogaFire damage to the backside of the castle — Theis restored the Neptune Pool, Library, and Kitchen. Project completed ahead of schedule and under budget. Full follow-on scope: boiler room, roofing, stonework, kitchen, bathrooms, woodwork, and artwork.
Waterproofed all internal water passages throughout the home. Full restoration and rebuild of cabinetry in kitchen, hallways, and over heaters. Manufactured custom tooling and knives into full production with Anaheim Reel Lumber.
Theis constructed underground vaults using Theis Tekton to ensure structural integrity, security, and complete waterproofing beneath one of Los Angeles's most iconic public landmarks.

The production mold for the iconic Batman suit in The Dark Knight Rises was fabricated at Theis Industries' Redondo Beach laboratory, then delivered to the Howard Hughes lab set in Playa del Rey, CA.
At the film's premiere, a woman stabbed a costumed figure wearing the suit with a knife — the blade failed to penetrate. This inadvertent stress test demonstrated the actual protective capability of Theis Tekton materials far beyond the theatrical context.
An Australian bar owner needed mugs that were completely non-breakable yet still maintained proper beer foam — a combination the market could not supply.
Theis manufactured mugs from optically clear Theis Tekton — virtually indestructible, optically indistinguishable from glass, and fully foam-retaining. Patrons could throw the glasses without breakage. Bar owner eliminated breakage costs and liability risk.
Theis designed and installed a full-scale 60-foot Brontosaurus Rex sculpture outside the zoo, a full-scale Raptor protruding from drywall and plexiglass, and the iconic Pinball Room — immersive, durable, zoo-grade installations.
Foober engaged Theis to manufacture a second prototype of an indestructible enrichment toy for Black Rhinos — an endangered species. Theis drew on survival training and knowledge of animal behavior to design the toy with stimulating smells, challenging textures, and weighted resistance calibrated to rhino strength.
City ordinances denied a permit for an outdoor tennis court due to unacceptable light and noise impact on the surrounding neighborhood. The court had to be built — but it could not be built above ground.
Theis engineered a full tennis court 80 feet below ground, carved into the hillside and finished in old-world plaster bath house aesthetics. The court connects to the main structure via an underground tunnel. World-famous old-world plasterer Dominic La Ferla was contracted for the interior finish.
An immaculate piece of engineering — a fully functional, regulation-size tennis court invisible to the city, neighbors, and any aerial observation.
